It wasn't to be for our Kensington (1), who were downed by Reynella Div 1 on a day that didn't go our way.
We batted first and finished with 134 on the board from 27.3 overs. Hayley Rutter was the pick of our batters with 29 off 26 balls. Solid support came from Gracie Lloyd, who made 23. Jessica Armstrong did the damage for Reynella Div 1 with three for 21.
The visitors knocked off the runs, finishing on 2/135 in 22.3 overs. Credit to Kat Vlachos, who made 39 for our opponents.
The visitors were too strong this time around.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
