It was a day to regroup for our Kensington CC Over 50 Men Div 1, who went down to Goodwood CC Over 50 Men in one to put behind us.
Goodwood CC Over 50 Men's innings closed at 8/279 from 40 overs. Warwick Potts posted 51 for our opponents, a classy fifty. There were 41 from Michael Innes for the visitors. Andrew Watson was the pick of our bowlers with four for 44.
In reply, the team were all out for 181 in 35.4 overs. Anthony Tucker made a brilliant 50 not out off 48 balls, a well-made fifty. Perry Edwards chipped in with 27. Credit to Tim Sargent, who took four for 21 for our opponents.
There were some good individual efforts to build on.
Chins up, everyone.
