There was plenty to celebrate as our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20 beat Adelaide in a pleasing performance.
First up, Adelaide made 9/74 from 20 overs. Eliza Doddridge picked up three for 13 off four overs. Emmerson Filsell added two for 10.
In reply, the team reached the target at 1/76 in 12 overs. Doddridge batted well for 33 off 34 balls with four fours. Bridget Patterson added a useful 22 off 29 balls.
A terrific result for the girls.
A brilliant effort from the side.
