There was no joy for our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20, who fell short against Adelaide on Sunday in Senior Women.
First up, we made 4/102 from 20 overs. Bridget Patterson top-scored, making 23 off 22 balls. Eliza Doddridge played a handy knock of 23.
Adelaide knocked off the runs, finishing on 6/103 in 19.3 overs. The best of our opponents' batters was Stephanie Beazleigh with 34. Maddie Penna returned figures of two for 23 off 2.3 overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
We'll go again.
