Sunday belonged to our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20, who came away winners against Adelaide in Senior Women action.
Batting first, we posted 5/165 from 20 overs. Fifty for Bridget Patterson, who finished with 67 off 43 balls. Fifty for Eliza Doddridge, who finished with 51 off 51 balls.
We bowled Adelaide out for 49 in 16.4 overs. Shae Daly returned figures of three for 10 off three overs.
It was a terrific all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the team. We'd lost to the visitors earlier this season, so this one was especially pleasing.
Well done, team.
