It was a satisfying day for our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade T20, who came away winners against Glenelg to collect a well-earned win.
Batting first, Glenelg posted 5/78 from 20 overs. Madelon Camilleri batted well for our opponents, making 28 off 45 balls.
In reply, the team reached the target at 1/79 in 9.1 overs. Maddie Penna's 42 off 25 balls was the highlight with the bat. Bridget Patterson was unbeaten on 30 off 28 balls.
That's a third straight win. Well played, all.
