Our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade were on song as they chalked up a win over Adelaide in Senior Women.
It finished 8/254 to 10/108. Teju Jayaprakash brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 58 off 77 balls. Jade Gersch weighed in with 46 off 63 balls.
Jasmin Earl held Adelaide's innings together with 29. Phoebe Taylor led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 7.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the team. Revenge, of sorts: the hosts had won our previous meeting this season.
Well done, team.
