Sunday belonged to our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade, who saw off Port Adelaide at Pt Adel Reserve - Northeast Auto Group Oval, winning by 128 runs.
We batted first and put 6/199 on the board from 40 overs. A classy 81 not out off 68 balls from Teju Jayaprakash was the highlight. Abby Bain added a useful 33 off 60 balls.
Port Adelaide were all out for 71 in 23.3 overs in reply. Ella Gustard led the way for our opponents with 38 off 52 balls. Isabel Durant grabbed three for 12. Ava Foote also took two for 18.
Congratulations to the side on a brilliant result.
