There was plenty to celebrate as our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade overcame Port Adelaide for an excellent result.
After batting first, we finished on 7/174 from 40 overs. Olivia Temme batted well for 42 off 86 balls with five fours. Gopika Pandit was still there at the end on 23 off 32 balls.
Port Adelaide were all out for 70 in 27.4 overs in reply. Our best with the ball was Hannah Taylor-Yeates, who took three for 14.
The runs on the board proved more than enough. The team have now won three straight. Well played, all.
