Our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade side had to give best to Sturt on a frustrating day.
Batting first, we posted 10/148 from 39.1 overs. Abby Collihole made an excellent 57 off 81 balls, a well-made fifty. Hannah Taylor-Yeates played a handy knock of 21. Shagun Rathore was the pick of Sturt's bowlers with three for 16.
In reply, the visitors passed our total, finishing on 8/149 in 33.1 overs. Shelby Holland passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 62. Martha Roberts bowled superbly to finish with three for 19. Taylor-Yeates bowled impressively for two for 8.
The girls will be keen to turn things around after three straight losses. Well played to the visitors.
