Our Kensington West End Mens 1st Grade - Div One had to settle for a loss as they fell to Port Adelaide at Pt Adel Reserve - Northeast Auto Group Oval in Senior Men.
Our totals were 8/291, against Port Adelaide's 5/86 and 7/210. Fifty for Jake Lehmann, who finished with 78 off 131 balls. Joshua Doyle made 41 off 109 balls. Credit to Cameron Valente, who claimed a five-wicket haul (five for 73) for our opponents.
Cameron Fatchen was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 28 off sixteen overs. Doyle chipped in with four for 81. The hosts' best was a half-century from Zac McCabe, who made 75. William Forster chipped in with 42 for our opponents.
There were some polished individual efforts to build on.
Well played to the hosts.
