Our Kensington West End Mens 1st Grade - Div One were on song as they got the better of Port Adelaide at Woodville Oval on Saturday.
Across the match we made 6/341, with Port Adelaide on 10/309. Henry Dall passed fifty on the way to 95 off 214 balls with three fours. Robbie White made a cracking 80 off 123 balls, a well-made fifty. Sam Rahaley made a superb 75 not out off 111 balls, a well-made fifty. Thomas Andrews was the pick of the visitors' bowlers with three for 133.
Cameron Fatchen bowled impressively to finish with three for 79. Lloyd Pope finished with three for 121. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Zac McCabe, who made 67.
Revenge, of sorts: the visitors had won our previous meeting this season. Two wins on the trot now for the side.
A cracking effort from the team.
