It was a disappointing outing for our Kensington West End Mens 2nd Grade, who fell short against Tea Tree Gully in one to put behind us.
Tea Tree Gully's innings ended at 10/142 and 1/12, ours at 10/101 and 10/52. Jayden Growden made a valuable 36 off 53 balls. William Rice made 23 off 40 balls. Our opponents' Sean Nottle was the standout with the ball, taking five for 19.
Shivam Channa tore through the batting order, taking five for 32. For the visitors, Rory Nottle was unbeaten on 40.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Well played to our opponents.
