There were smiles all round after our Kensington West End Mens 2nd Grade secured a win against West Torrens with a classy team effort.
West Torrens made 10/257, and we made 9/316. Jaikar Singh posted a half-century, making 72 off 127 balls with ten fours and two sixes. Achyut Chopra's 70 off 170 balls was a half-century to remember.
Shivam Channa tore through the batting order, taking six for 43. Jay Temme chipped in with three for 90. The visitors' Luke Terry made a stylish 104 not out.
It was an excellent all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's three wins on the trot for the side.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Kensington.
