In Senior Men, our Kensington West End Mens 4th Grade couldn't get past Adelaide on a frustrating day.
Adelaide batted first and put 7/236 on the board from 40 overs. The visitors' Kishna Mittal made a stylish 104. Charlie Fox posted 55 for our opponents, a fine fifty. Our best with the ball was Blake Hayward, who took three for 45.
In reply, we finished on 178 from 34.1 overs. Josh Allen batted well for 43 off 69 balls with four fours. Harry Bedford made 43 off 40 balls. Finlay Seers bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 28.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. That's three losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
