Our Kensington West End Mens 4th Grade were on song as they came out on top against Port Adelaide at E.P. Nazer Reserve Oval 1 - Turf on Saturday.
Port Adelaide batted first and put 5/193 on the board from 40 overs. Yuvraj Yadav batted well for the hosts, making 45 off 72 balls. Our opponents also got 45 from Jordon Harker. Joshua Camporeale-Elliott bowled superbly to finish with two for 34. Jamieson Payne bowled superbly for two for 40.
In reply, the side reached the target at 3/194 in 39.2 overs. Sangam Gautam brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 58 off 79 balls.
It was a terrific all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That makes it two wins in a row.
Congratulations to the boys on a superb result.
