Our Kensington West End Mens 4th Grade side went under to Prospect by 41 runs on Saturday.
Batting first, Prospect posted 7/184 from 40 overs. Credit to Charlie Goldsworthy, who made a half-century (63) for the hosts. Abraham Peter returned figures of three for 30 off eight overs.
In reply, we finished on 143 from 33.5 overs. Sangam Gautam brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 58 off 69 balls. There were also handy runs from Blake Hayward (22). For our opponents, Lewis Mackinnon took four for 26 off 7.5 overs.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
