Our Kensington West End Mens 4th Grade had to settle for a loss as they were bested by West Torrens after a hard-fought contest.
Batting first, West Torrens posted 172 from 37.2 overs. Mark Whenan was the main threat for our opponents, making 39. Five wickets for Noah Murphy, who returned five for 26 off eight overs.
In reply, we finished on 167 from 39.1 overs. Jamie Panelli led the way with 36 off 51 balls with four fours. ANUJ RAO bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 33.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. We'll go again.
