It was a satisfying day for our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 1st Grade, who outclassed Sturt for back-to-back wins.
Sturt batted first and made 10/175 from 48.3 overs. The hosts' best was a half-century from Nancy Harman, who made 76. Our best with the ball was Courtney Neale, who took three for 7.
In reply, the team reached the target at 2/178 in 39.1 overs. Maddie Penna made a cracking 92 not out off 91 balls, a well-made fifty. Fifty for Bridget Patterson, who finished with 63 off 118 balls.
A well-deserved victory for the side.
Well played, all.
