Our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade T20 had to settle for a loss as they had to give best to West Torrens in a disappointing result.
Our innings closed at 9/71 from 20 overs. Teju Jayaprakash made a valuable 19 off 31 balls. Olyvia Smedley bowled cleverly for West Torrens, a five-wicket haul of five for 15.
In reply, the hosts passed our total, finishing on 4/72 in 14.1 overs. Olivia Temme returned figures of two for 9 off two overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
