Our Kensington Kookaburra Womens 2nd Grade T20 side proved too strong for Northern Districts with a good team effort.
We batted first and put 5/133 on the board from 20 overs. Abby Collihole's 59 not out off 47 balls was a half-century to remember. Solid support came from Francesca Queale, who made 22. Northern Districts' best with the ball was Saoirse Flynn (three for 30).
Our bowlers kept our opponents to 9/63 from 20 overs in reply. Our best with the ball was Collihole, who took three for 9. Olivia Temme bowled beautifully for three for 12.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Kensington.
