It was a day to regroup for our Kensington West End Mens 1st Grade - Div One, who came up short against Adelaide at home.
Over the course of the match we totalled 9/290, and Adelaide 10/293. Harry Matthias brought up a good half-century, finishing with 70 off 189 balls. Fifty for Henry Dall, who finished with 62 off 137 balls. Ryan Percival also got among the runs with 49 off 70 balls. Our opponents' best with the ball was Rishu Sharma (three for 31).
Lloyd Pope picked up four for 86 off 27 overs. Joshua Doyle finished with three for 37. The visitors' best was a half-century from Samuel Scrimgeour, who made 84.
There were some classy individual efforts to build on.
Chins up, everyone.
