It was one to learn from for our Kensington CC Over 50 Men Div 1, who were beaten by Adelaide Ezys by eight wickets at Kensi Gdns Res - Col Waite Oval.
First up, we made 8/126 from 40 overs. Leading the way was Andrew Rumbelow with 25. Geoff Black played a handy knock of 25. Craig Calliess did the damage for Adelaide Ezys with four for 17.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 2/130 in 22 overs. Credit to Nicholas Mosey, who made a half-century (53) for the visitors. Dave Benson remained unbeaten on 39 for our opponents.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. A tough stretch, and one the boys will be determined to end. Congratulations to the visitors on the win.
