It was a tough day out for our Kensington West End Mens 4th Grade, who came up short against Adelaide with lessons to take away.
Adelaide batted first and reached 6/238 from 40 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Jack O'Sullivan, who made 78. Credit to Kishna Mittal, who made a half-century (74) for the visitors. Seb Rice grabbed two for 31.
Chasing 239, we reached 8/216 from 40 overs. Tyson Matthews played a good hand of 39 off 56 balls. Harry Moule-Hooworth chipped in with 36.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
