It was a good day out for our Kensington Hahn Mens 2nd Grade, who took the honours against Southern District at Park 25 - Oval 3 in Senior Men.
Batting first, we posted 5/294 from 50 overs. Henry Dall brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 66 off 75 balls. Shivam Channa posted a half-century, making 57 off 83 balls with five fours and one six. Fifty for James Cleggett, who finished with 52 off 50 balls.
Southern District were all out for 190 in 46.3 overs in reply. Tom Maegraith was the main threat for the visitors, making 44. William Rice returned figures of four for 33 off ten overs. Jay Temme added three for 53.
Bowling our opponents out proved decisive.
Congratulations to all involved.
