The Kensington West End Mens 2nd Grade went down to Glenelg.
We posted 9/42, while Glenelg made 10/238. James Cleggett played a quality hand of 21 off 64 balls. For our opponents, Tom Wilkinson took four for 11 off 8.2 overs.
William Rice was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 36 off thirteen overs. Cleggett backed up well, taking two for 31. Jayson Bartolo made a stylish 57 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
