Good news from our Kensington West End Mens 4th Grade, who took care of Adelaide University with a performance to be proud of.
First up, we made 5/227 from 40 overs. Sangam Gautam brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 50 off 55 balls. Jamieson Payne made an excellent 50 not out off 43 balls, a well-made fifty. Zac Grice added a useful 40 off 35 balls.
We bowled Adelaide University out for 162 in 33.2 overs. Aditya Iswaran was the main threat for the hosts, making 45. Samarbir Singh was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 22 off 4.2 overs. Abraham Peter backed up well, taking two for 23.
Bowling our opponents out proved decisive.
Onwards and upwards.
